HOW YOUR RESUME IS BUILT, STEP-BY-STEP

Your target roles, impacts, and personal brand drive every word and design decision.

1. Start with the target

Before I write your resume, I start with 3-5 target job listings. I study what employers keep asking for: the experience they value, the problems they need solved, the language they use, and how they describe the people who succeed there.

2. Build the job listing blueprint

From that research, I create a job listing blueprint. It gives us a clear strategy for connecting what they need with the experience, strengths, and perspective you already bring.

3. Uncover your impact

Then we get into your impacts. I don’t write responsibility bullets that could belong to anyone with your job title. Every bullet shows something specific to you: what you improved, created, changed, solved, influenced, or helped move forward.

4. Define your personal brand

Next, I use your Personal Brand Inventory to identify what makes you different from people with similar experience: how you approach your work, what you do especially well, and what you want to be known for.

5. Write and design the resume

Finally, I use that strategy to write, organize, and design your resume. Your brand statement and career highlights establish your positioning, your strongest impacts receive the most attention, and every section is arranged so readers (and ATS) can quickly understand your value.

The finished resume is clear, persuasive, and built for where you’re headed next.

THE STRATEGY BEHIND THE WRITING

Every part of a strong resume has a purpose.

Brand strategy, marketing, copywriting, and UX work together to create a resume that is focused, persuasive, easy to navigate, and aligned with the opportunities you want next.

BRAND STRATEGY

Identify what makes you different and decide what your resume should make you known for.

COPYWRITING

Distill your work into sharp, specific language that sells your impact instead of reciting responsibilities.

MARKETING

Research your target roles and position your experience around what employers are looking for now.

UX & DESIGN

Create a clear hierarchy and visual flow so your strongest evidence gets seen first.

See what the finished work looks like.

Every resume is written and designed around a different person, target, and career story.
